You are missing the point here. These are non-exec directors. They are appointed to represent local people and to hold the Board to account. They have to reside locally.
The Consultant in Public Health etc are Executive posts, ie part of the staff of the PCT and not included in this press release.

I would like to know how many of the Board ,Executive and Non Executive members have any connection with Dorset ? Are they required to live in the county area of Dorset or indeed work in the NHS ,were they selected from local candidates , have they been treated in Dorset NHS facillities etc.,etc., more…

I could not agree more,I will be visting Weymouth a bit later in the next month and this will be the first time for nearly 3 years as we used to vist every year but the since the charges have increased and they stopped the free parking for Blue badge owners (except for the High rate of DLA and not for the lower rate etc)the cost to park in Weymouth more…

Blame and self blame is classless. I personally wouldn't have done what these parents did, but do not blame them .They have to live with the guilt and "what if's" for the rest of their lives. I pray she is safe and abducted for adoption as opposed to the unthinkable, where surely death would be blessed relief. more…

I've never been convinced about the logic of this argument. There are many thousands of multinational companies with management teams so many times removed from the shop floor that they have no clue about what happens there.
